I see these homes all cleaned up and like to think about what they were like when the first families lived in them and cared for them. So glad you addressed the "why doesn't anyone else take care of it?" question. You *really* need good (i.e., more expensive) tools to do this clean up work effectively.. I've learned that dealing with just on my own property and yard. You can work hard for hours and hours, month after month, but if you've got really thick brush, vines, etc., then a cheapo weed whacker and basic push mower combo literally isn't gonna cut it in any real or lasting way. This is part of what I love about what Sean is doing: not only is he giving his time and energy as a 'living sacrifice' to love his neighbors, but he's also sharing his use of a bunch of tools that a lot of people can't afford -- with support from viewers like us who see what he's doing and pool resources to help! A wonderful way to celebrate Sean's 500K would be for each of us to get a trash bag and pick up trash in a local park, stream or vacant lot. Imagine 500K bags of trash picked up around the world!😊

Thank you for not bagging the leaves!! So many important bugs hibernate in the leaves each winter like butterflies and fireflies. These insect numbers have been drastically declining and many of them are native pollinators.
