Earthquake with Sea Lion Squeaks

Yes you're correct. This hydrophone is deployed at a depth of 100 m and with some amplification we can hear above-water sounds like surf action, airplanes and sea lion barks fairly clearly.

So if I am understanding this correctly; the hydrophone (underwater microphone) caught both the underwater earthquake sounds and was sensitive enough to catch the above ocean / in the air sea lion barking? As far as I know sea lions do not (cannot?) bark underwater? Am I correct?

sped-up sea lions sound like dolphins. Also, I see a vaguely sine-like wave in the last portion of the video, is this from the earthquake or is it just the sea sloshing about?

Not sure about that. Likely not from the earthquake, as it is very low frequency, so it could be other ambient noises - perhaps sloshing as you suggest.
