You don't often get a review based on the subtle use of effects. Love the philosophy he lays down about words and books. Legend. (also great pedal)
@EarthQuakerDevices6 жыл бұрын
thanks for watching! sometimes the subtle use of effects can be more effective (pun intended) than an all-out pedal freakout. and if you don't believe me, listen to the snare drum reverb return after the second guitar solo in "1970" by the stooges. i'm not sure what they did (run the reverb through a wah? maestro filter? sweep the eq?) but it goes by so quickly and makes a great song even better!

Mike came to my city about 3-4 years ago with his Italian trio and naturally they were fantastic.But asides from being a monster bassist he was a superior person.He sat down and signed and spoke with everyone.No star trip,like talking to a friend.

If I bought any signature bass it would be the wattplower. . I heard he really wanted them to build it how he had his gig bad, Gibson eb-3, setup.

Would eqd ever make a Looper? Or is that too boring for u guys? I'd love a Looper with an octave down feature, so guitar players can add bass to a loop drums are easy to replicate, but u need that octave. If u make it, can I get a prototype for giving u the idea?🤣 Nice editing.. I like when he plays and u show the cool scenery..

@EarthQuakerDevices6 жыл бұрын
watt's said in interviews that the "econo" philosophy is not about getting the cheapest thing, but is instead about doing your research and getting the most bang for your buck. like he says in the video, pedals are just tools to expand your musical vocabulary. it's up to you to figure out what you want to say and how you want to say it.

To each their own. Perhaps it isn’t econo for your own personal needs but that doesn’t mean it isn’t econo for every single other individual out there.
