9.1 its insane, and more insane is how well built japanese buildings are, an earthquake this big in europe would destroy everything

Japan gets a lot of earthquakes since they're on the ring of fire so they have buildings specifically built to withstand stuff like this

At that time, I suffered from this earthquake. In the city where I live, there observed a seismic intensity of 6+ of the Japan Meteorological Agency Seismic Intensity Class. It shook for more than 3 minutes. Since it is an inland area, there was no damage from the tsunami. The inside of my house was messed up, there was no foothold. On the day of the earthquake, we set up a tent in the garden and slept. This earthquake and tsunami killed 15,900 people and still leave 2,525 missing. I never want to experience it again.

@Ivan-ManzoАй бұрын
In my country it's exactly the oposite, if you have time you get out and search for a place where nothing can fall on you, you only shelter in place it there is not enough time to leave (like a tall building) or if the shaking is so intense you might fall while walking. Most places in here dont have that kind of roof tiles however.
