Sky Lynx is among my top 10 Autobots and I’ve been wanting a toy of him forever. Was aghast at the CW one, but then the Earthrise one was announced. Seeing all it has to offer and universal acclaim across all the toy reviewers makes me want it even more. I’m so envious of all the people who have it now, at the rate things are going I won’t be able to have it till October.

Hard to decide between this and the Mastermind Creations one. On the one hand, Inventa and Magna have more grandeur in their combined mode, and Inventa's bird form looks more fleshed out. By Hasbro's shuttle mode doesn't look like its half off the cargo bit, and I'm loving that base mode. Even have some mini-cons I want to put on him. Much like Phoenix from Fans Toys and Hasbro's new Jetfire, 1st and 2nd place are simply too close to call.

I got this guy the other week and I love him, I really like how they took the G1 design and added more to it without detracting from the original design. I give Skylynx a 4.5 out of five, only reason he not five is his wings are kind of floppy but on the whole I am rather pleased with him.

Wow!! This version totally owns the CW one!! If only he could walk like the G1 version with the batteries installed. IF NASA helped with making Skylinx, they should've helped with Astrotrain's half assed shuttle mode!!

giving astrotrain an accurate shuttle mode would've hurt his cartoon accuracy, unfortunately. I think evila/devil star has the most accurate shuttle mode of all astrotrains, but as a result his shuttle mode is not cartoon accurate.

I was doubtful of Commander Class at first, but we're two figs in now (Skyfire and Sky Lynx, no less) and I'm very impressed. Between Sky Lynx being larger than Leader and his rival Predaking being a smaller Titan they scale very well together.

I missed out on his first release and had pretty much given up, forever doomed to just have to settle for a pair of Jetfires (lol). Thankfully I got in on the rerelease...only to have him get stuck in Illinois for a week, knowing that if I was still in California, I'd have him already. (just nowhere to put him) He finally showed up and sweet Christmas what a magnificent beast. Only issue I have is that tricky tab on the back of the bird half refusing to catch on the lynx. I get it eventually but so far I've yet to manage on the first try when transforming him.

Just got this yesterday and it is my biggest Transformer, until Omega arrives. A bit disappointed in how loose and sloppy some of the moving parts were on mine. Looks so nice but the wings and locking mechanisms just randomly move too much. Oh well. Still fun to add to the collection.

Nice. l am sorely tempted to pick this one up, and that's saying something as I never cared for the G1 toy or character. Wish the could have done something with the bird legs - beefed up the thighs a little and let you spread the claws, but let's be honest 90% of buyers only care about the combined mode. One correction - chest blushing is not as good as any other blooshing, because as we all know, there is no blooshing as good as butt blooshing.
