One thing I really like about your videos is that you spread the love around the US, and don't make all of your scenarios in a single city. Also, the combined story universe is entertaining.

Well done. I really enjoy when you use a combination of AM band radio & emergency alerts to build tension in a story. I'm looking forward to the next part. Perhaps in the future for a new story, you could use commercial clips from the web & have the EAS interrupt them for a tension building effect.

Logic, I feel, is one of the most interesting of my characters that I have in my movies. Just a small preview of what too much computer can do to us all.

When it said "Bioligcal Hazard Warning" I was like "Oh, what the shit, how can a crime group cause a Biological threat?" But when it said what was causing it I was like OOooh. Some of the best EAS twists i've ever seen :P

EAS warnings consist of a standard tone and a data stream which sounds exactly like a modem connection. There is also a standardized format announcing the cities and/or counties the message is directed to. It also identifies who issued the alert, Federal, State, Local or news media. And a hostage event usually goes to a live news bulletin. This was why no EAS warning was issued on September 11, 2001: All radio and TV stations had gone to news reporting. This was not realistic.

Thanks for the feedback, Paul. I am well aware of what a "realistic" EAS broadcast is supposed to be formatted like. However, when the government is eyeballing your videos and does not want too much realism involved, there tends to be some changes made to the videos. Besides, most of my videos are "what if's" not "what are supposed to be's". That would make for a pretty boring video. My premise is to make the EAS voice be the storyteller and not a news station. Much scarier that way. But, sometimes, I do have newscasting. It presumes that something may have happened to the news station. or other possibilities. Thanks again for the comments.
