EAS Tornado Warning + TWC Coverage of Severe Wx Outbreak, 7/21/2010

Tornado Warning for Centre County during a huge Severe Weather Outbreak in the Northeast. EAS Activation for the Tornado Warning in Centre County at 00:48, from Comcast. (Put my camera away after the first line of storms and couldn't find it in time for the Weatheradio broadcast). Also, some coverage of the severe weather outbreak in the Northeast.
I also have a sort of staticky version of the EAS that sounds weird, but I'm going to hold onto it for now. Once this video gets sufficient views, I shall post. =)

@YumPepsi01 I have a digital cable box. When an EAS bulletin occurs, it automatically switches the channel to QVC, where the EAS bulletin is displayed. You cannot change the channel once that occurs. I originally had TWC on.

We have our own EAS channel here, our Comcast system broadcasts on its own channel and then goes to a blue, red, and white screen. Every cable system is different, but I think that Comcast is the best :P Thanks for sharing!

My area had 2 tornado warnings recently, both tornadoes an EF-1. But, my friend would rather watch TV than go to the basement. And I was writing this when I heard the guy talking about severe thunderstorms in my state, and why is there so many tornadoes in Connecticut recently?

Apparently, Warner Music Group put a bulletin on the song that is in the Local Forecast in the beginning. Because of this, the audio has been muted because it violates copyright. I'm going to see if I can snip out that LF in the future (provided, of course, I have a computer that can do video editing; my laptop is a Celeron dual core and crashes when I try to open Windows Movie Maker). If you're as unhappy as I am with this, let KZbin know.

@EmilyWebkinz16 I don't post fake EAS bulletins. The only thing on here that isn't authentic is some of the WS4000 videos (which are emulated). I wouldn't know how to create them regardless....plus I don't have that much time to try and figure it out.

I think it's because some providers redirect to a certain channel to show the warning, which was showing ads in this case.

The ads were not my choice; when there is any copyrighted content used on a video, the owner of that copyright can select to put ads on the video to gain revenue. So even if I own the video, technically WMG owns the copyright. Be thankful they gave me my sound back. ;)
