So what was the purpose of that flight? To kill the foliage in the open area between the tree lines? What chemical was used again?

You guy's do amazing work. Blows my mind the USA just uses chemicals for everything though. This is the safety label for Vastlan: WARNING May be fatal if swallowed • Causes substantial but temporary eye injury • Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse Irrigation Canals/Ditches: Do not apply Vastlan to irrigation canals/ditches unless the 120-day restriction on irrigation water usage can be observed or residue levels of Vastlan are determined by laboratory analysis, or other appropriate means of analysis, to be 1 ppb or less. So basically this stuff poisons the water supply.
