If you ride a hirse next to the farm the armadillos are also scared so you dont need the zombie, but naje sure to remoove the cactus when the farm is not in use so the armadillos dont die

I’m not sure about the XP part. But I tried it with 4 and it lags your game so much, and the silverfish leak out. So I’ve just decided to do it with 2

JC_Playz - Confused. At 10.18 you show a trap door on the outside of the farm but no mention of this during the build. Even more confusing when you close down the trapdoor there appears to be a block behind it ! What am I missing?

That's how you remove the cactus so the armadillo isn't taking damage when it's not running. Trapdoors are used to make you crawl

I put it on realms and play with my son. The specific build I am referencing is Jason’s gold farm, but the concept is the same. Regardless, we both got XP off the same trident, but once it “stopped working” for him, but he’s 6 so I assumed he did something. The second time it happened to me while I was afking there. I came back and noticed the gains had stopped. To verify I hit a few with my sword and got xp again but wasn’t getting anything from the meat grinder.

No. That's the purpose of the zombie. It makes the armadillo curl up making it impervious to the effect of the cactus. (providing you remove the cactus after the infestation wears off).

new update changed something with the fire tick so you’ll have to work around it by using flint and steel in a dispenser instead of the lava on trapdoors

no, when rolled up 75% damage reduction, cactus does 0.5 so 0.25 dmg but not posible so 0 dmg
