for maximum efficiency, make sure there is a 5x5 square of grass around the center, because that way the grass block in the middle will have the highest change of regrowing each tick

@@cnoob2796 The sheep grows back its wool when it feeds on grass, if there are no grass blocks for the sheep to feed on, it won't regrow its wool

Tip:i would recommend for anyone building this to use an opened trapdoor on the top and use baby sheep instead of grown ups to put inside the farm. Also note:there needs to be a surrounding area of grass so the grass can spread and not just one block of grass or this farm wont work

@@0riginalfuz They'll fit, but just barely. In java, F3+b shows mob hitboxes, making it easier to align. You can also remove one glass block, use leads to walk them into the shearing chamber, and block it back up. Then remove the lead, and collect it from your wool storage.

Best way to make it work (bedrock 1.19) is to have multiple sheep in each capsule, and put grass near their grass (if there’s not already) to help it grow. It works really well for me now.

Also for whatever reason if you are on a Server with some friends make sure they have ( /gamerule mobGriefing true ) on because mine was on false and that caused the observers to not work for the farm just letting you know!

Also we have another collection system we can made it with rails Just put rails on Block under sheep and place rails at start od you farm to the end and then place hopper in a chest and at center of collection system put another hopper and under it place chest(I made like it)

Also for those on bedrock who doesn't work try to put a lever on the side of the dispenser and leave it on. And put a few blocks of grass around so it gets back to grass quicker.

1.19 - There might be a bug when you make a dispenser it turns to a dropper. Manually craft these. There are the ones that require bows.

For some reason the hopper minecart didn’t pick up the wool. To fix it, I moved the hopper one block up and used a piston to clip a dirt block into the minecart. I hope that helps anyone if you have that problem

Couple tips I found useful. It's easier to get the sheep in as babies. And if you don't care about aesthetic, leaf blocks do the same job and are much easier to get in large amounts. Until next time!

i tried doing it multiple times and had an issue where the grass block wouldnt turn into dirt block when sheep ate. turns out the problem was mobgriefing gamerule being set to false. now it works so thx

It doesn't work, the dispenser doesn't sheer the sheep (java 1.19.1) Edit: nvm, my server has mob griefing turned off so the grass block never changes to dirt and doesn't update the observer.

The sheep needs to have grass to eat to regrow wool, the hopper minecart can collect items through the grass block, and normal hoppers can't collect items through a full block. 👍
