For those on Bedrock and not using dispensers, you can put pistons with gravel on top. Works the same as the trap doors.

Normal blocks will stay when a piston moves them. Gravel (or sand) will drop when the solid block below them is removed. Therefore, when the piston drops, the gravel or sand will drop with it.

For Those Who Arent on bedrock you can use sticky pistons to grab the trapdoors and the water will flow out, also put redstone on top to make all of em go up

For the infinite fuel farm, you can use dried kelp, but instead directly smelting it, make blocks of it. This is super helpful Btw you will need to smelt kelp in the beginning ;)

Trap doors weren't holding the water back so I used upside down sticky pistons to push blocks down. Redstone to Red torch and button works perfectly.

For new players: Find a cave/tunnel deep underground, then hide there for about 1-2 hours of play. At that time, you only need to find about 2 trees to have 7-8 stone pickaxes, 1 chest containing stone, iron ore and food, you can plant it if you encounter water deep underground. Remember to bring soil and a rake!

Bonus tip for food farm (u can put hopper in the water and put a chest make sure chest and hopper are comnected not like the hopper facing the wrong direction)

definitely good farms. the tree one seems like a lot of hardwork to chop all the wood though. Also, most of these farms aren't very realistic for new worlds in survival mode. you might as well play on Creative mode. the things for the redstone circuits can't be acquired early in the game (as far as I know anyway) unless you enable cheats and use the command to give yourself the items such as observers. But that aside, I do think these are excellent and simple farm builds :) Thank you for sharing.

That first one is just so damn cool! And it works wonderfully, didn't work as soon as I pulled the lever, it actually has a delayed reaction, I'm assuming because of this thing they call "Ticks" haha I actually dug out one extra block for a hopper where the loot collects, added a double chest and connected the hopper to the chest, other than planting the seeds, everything else is auto 👍👍

Tip: If you dont have bamboo, just replace it with kelp, and change the blocks below it to sand and fill it with water

The first one isn't working for some reason for me. Trap doors don't work, only 2 of them work and if i place dispensers I'm unable to put redstone on it for some reason. i play java edition.

To put redstone on dispensers you need to crouch first (with shift) and then put it.

Why are so many people weirded out saying this isnt actually beginner friendly because of redstone? First thing i do in the game is look for big caves/ crevasses... build a dirt hut to be upgraded later but keep ya safe, hit some wood, get wood pickaxe. Then start mining to get furnace and stone tool, then get iron, then you just need to find the redstone, which is usually pretty easy if youve got a good mining area. Not sure what youre expecting. If you want something you can make in a few minutes just find a body of shallow water, pick a 5x5 grid and fill it with soil except keep the middle water, put a stone slab on top of the water. Hoe and plant crops. While youre waiting for it to grow go find some iron, make a bucket and dump water bucket on the middle slab to harvest everything... tada

I spent few hours to find 30 iron. And all i lost due to creeper 😅 In those hours i only found single lava bucket. Not every spawn will have iron exposed or anything. I found more iron the old way (mining) than by exploring. And redstone? Only single node. But running naked with stone tools to get all these is difficult. My 1st to build is kelp farm, normal manual farm, 1 bucket, one hopper. I get then iron farm and can tackle the bigger builds.

Whenever i use this dispenser method, the water from all the dispenser get our permanently then ill have to fill the buckets again and place them in the dispenser. I am playing on survival mode, won't this trick work on this mode or did they made any updates like thing for this one...??
