Great video Daniel .... I appreciate that this tutorial is based on the position of the b7 and 3rd notes, but just to clarify that the "blue" note of the major scale is the b3, and in the minor scale it is the b5. Am I understanding that correctly please?

My friend! Yes, the blue note of the major pentatonic scale is the b3 and the blue note of the minor pentatonic scale is the b5 . There are obviously lots of methods and some others might call them by other names but I think this absolute sounds and works sonically and makes sense. They serve the same purpose in the two different worlds.

Well, there are two main forms you need to learn. 12 bar dominant blues and 12 bar minor blues. I have quite a few bluesy videos on my channel. Let me brainstorm to see if I could recommend some others to check out.
