Awesome I have recommended you to those that are puzzled in this most difficult of games. I am learning this technique now and it brings joy to get the ball rolling and to the hole or close . I grab a couple of clubs as I head to my shot if the distance is more or less than it appeared when first seen. Sand wedge 56 and 8 iron I do move the ball back in my stance slightly if I need to make the club angle steepen. The eight iron is good all but say less than 5 yards no over think just applied to muni busy day I guess you should be a good chipper with any club as you get better Thanks Aimee

Do you use your entire body as body motion in downswing in chipping or mainly the shoulders and other parts follow? Thank you.
@GolfWithAimee3 жыл бұрын
Hi, you should use the whole body in the downswing. However, I focused on shoulder motion mainly in this lesson, to keep things simple. Also, to prevent any excessive hip rotation usage! I hope this helps! Thanks :)

if you're hitting it fat....move the ball back in your stance (place where club is at bottom of arc). You will use the bounce of the club to get it airborne.

I do exactly what you say but I use an 8 iron and I make it land just on the green and let it roll back to the pin. I hole it a lot that way, when I use a pitching wedge I always come up short or way over I guess I’ve taught myself to finesse my 8 iron👍on the video

I’ve suffered with the yips with ‘bump and run’ shots up to 25/30 yds for three+ yrs now. Over that distance I can use a lob wedge. I’m stuck on 13 and won’t improve until I can get over this. Any ideas? I think I’ve tried everything😥
@ruatoomey91075 жыл бұрын
This is what works for me, ball slightly back from Centre, hands will be ahead, hips square to target and shoulders slightly open to target. When I strike the ball my feeling is to hit it with my right hand and with my r. elbow locking out at impact. Always pick a spot to land the ball. It’s the same feeling as throwing a ball underhand. Hope it helps you.

so the legs have to be pretty quiet?
@GolfWithAimee4 жыл бұрын
Yes, you shouldn't transfer your body weight into the trail foot in the backswing. So your legs will seem pretty quiet for the backswing! Thanks for your question!
