I first kept Kribs in about 1980 and never had any more until about a week ago... I forgot how nice these little fish are and am enjoying keeping these all over again!

Hi Lazarus! The Pelvicachromis cichlid complex of West Africa is very vast in terms of species and geographical verieties. I love these cichlids because they can coexist well with plants and other group fish, they have great parental care. Good start to the week.

I agree with all the above! What makes dwarf cichlids so great is they're not a plant eater, or destroy most aquarium plants at least, and work really well as a cichlid for a smaller planted aquarium. Thanks so much for watching Marco! Have a good one!

That is a lovely fish! I've still never bred and egg laying fish
@Lazarusthefishboy2 жыл бұрын
Oh me neither until recently with these guys! They make it so easy and learn how to care for their fry quite quickly compared to other cichlids! Definitely recommend trying to breed these, even if it's your first time!

I am keeping a pair of Kribs for about 4 months now, they still haven't laid any eggs! They paired up, they have been showing their dance of breeding ritual, the female even staying most of the time in the coconut cave I provided to them, and male is guarding the cave it seems for last 3 days....I am not sure if they laid eggs or not! I'm keeping them in 15gallon for the time being...

@@medievalsoul1915 sounds like they have. They mater and flirted for about a month for me and once they started constantly guarding the cave that meant there were eggs. U can check if u want, but if u don’t want to disturb them you should see the babies swimming in the open after a week or so. Good luck mate! 👍

@@Lazarusthefishboy I think I'll leave them be then for now....Thank you 😊
