EASIEST EVER CHICKEN PERI-PERI | OVEN BAKED CHICKEN PERI-PERI
To theme make chicken peri peri, you will need the following ingredients:
- whole chicken
- 2 tablespoons seasoning
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon of curry masala
- 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 2 green chilli pepper
- 2 red chilli pepper
- parsley
- spring onions
- vegetable oil
- 1 large bell pepper
- onions
Instructions:
1. Chopped all the red Ingredients; red bell pepper, red and green chilli and onion. Add into a baking pan drizzled with some oil and bake until it char.
1. In to a blender , mix together the oil, minced garlic, paprika, parsley , salt, black pepper, chilli flakes,spring onions,ginger powder, curry masala, lemon juice and the baked ingredients (red ingredients) to make the peri peri marinade.
2. Place the chicken thighs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the chicken is well coated with the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours for maximum flavor.
3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.
4. Grill the chicken down for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy and charred.
5. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
6. Serve the chicken peri peri with your favorite sides, such as rice, salad, or grilled vegetables.
