I definitely have learned that it is a good idea to bring that transition color almost all the way to the brow. My eyes are not only hooded but kindve puffy looking, and there is a good amount of space between my eye and brow, so that helps to create a natural-looking shadow to recede the whole area

This absolutely saved my makeup game! I am normally awful at any type of eyeshadow look, especially the darker "outter V" and liquid winged liner. Now by following this tutorial, I actually look like I know what I'm doing! Plus it is much better for my eye shape. Your video popped up in my feed and I almost didn’t watch it simply because I’ve watched hundreds of videos on hooded eyes and can NEVER make eyeshadow work without spending tons of time and energy...I have super hooded eyes plus a lot of space between the hood and my brows and nothing ever worked and I had pretty much given up on wearing eyeshadow! Well I’m SO glad I watched! This is by far the BEST technique! I can do it super fast and it’s not complicated! I’ve been doing this every day the past few days! Totally changed my eye makeup game! Thank you for mentioning the brushes you use for this look in the beginning so it's easy to follow along. I just did my eye look with 3 cream shadows but the brushes made it faster. Usually I'd just do 1 color cream all over my lid. This will be my go to eye look.

She does have hooded eyes there's just different levels of how hooded your eyes could be and some not only have hooded eyes but also droopy eyes, and it gets more hooded and droopy with age.😿😽

I love this! A lot of hooded eyeshadow tutorials involve dark shadow in the outer V, which to me can look too heavy for an every day look.

We got the exact same eye shape! I have always use a darker shade to replace eyeliner and do tight lining. Eyeliner in general just take up more lid space and make the eyes looked more hooded!

I'm definitely going to use this technique! I have eyes that are somewhere in between. They're slightly hooded and very fleshy I guess you could say, so detailed crease work never looks clean on me, but they're not truly hooded. However, looks for hooded eyes still really flatter me and are generally less intimidating and time consuming. Thank you for simplifying eye makeup for the average person who's short on time, and doesn't feel like putting a lot of thought into elaborate eye looks that seem like they require an art degree.

Not only is your look good for hooded eyes, it's also good for mature eyes. Nothing is worse than a hard looking black liner on hooded or mature eyes. It's way too harsh looking, so your suggestion is perfect, very soft and natural looking. To me, I always thought liquid or black liner was too heavy, and it seemed like that's all you ever noticed on women's eyes was that hard looking black liner, followed by heavy black mascara. Not attractive at all. I've used shadow to line and also brow liner for my eyeliner pencil because it comes in softer tones and doesn't shout out at you.

I'm still working out to best complement my eye shape and type. I have pretty hooded eyes but almost no space betwwen my "crease" and brow bone. I line mine with like a raisin/burgundy color in place of black. My go to is NYX prismatic eyeshadow single in punk heart. It makes hazel eyes pop!
