She left an unfinished blanket when she died and I couldn’t figure out how to finish it. ☹️ She was a lefty and I just couldn’t figure it out by unstitching and reverse engineering it. I’ve tried and tried for 15 YEARS! You have NO IDEA what this tutorial means to me. 😥 Thank You SO MUCH! ❤️

I. Love. You. My mother tried to teach me to crochet when I was 10 or 11, but I always got bored after finishing the foundation chain. FFWD a yr or 2 & I graduated to the sc...I thought. Unfortunately my mother wasn't very patient so instead of asking to b shown repeatedly, I decided to wing it. 👍 After crocheting, unraveling, crocheting, unraveling (literally thousands of times), getting beyond frustrated, retiring, deciding to give it yet another go, (even buying a few books) all so many times over the last 20+ yrs, I'm @ it again! This time though, there's KZbin! I've watched several 'Beginner Friendly' vids, but they aren't quite "beginner enough". Thank u for being such a conscientious, patient teacher. I really appreciate your videos, and especially the fact that you give options. What I mean is you explain that each pattern needs a multiple of a certain amount of stitches. This allows us to make each project our own, instead of locking us who watch into a specific project size. So many crochet tutorials don't allow for this, which makes it difficult for us beginners. And your accent is a wonderful plus. My children and I are constantly trying to imitate it!

Honestly, this is the best crocheting video I have found that actually taught me how to correctly do it. Every other one was way too fast and barely explained a thing. You were amazing, had a slower pace, and actually showed us EACH step! THANK YOU. I am in the middle of mine now and this is the first thing I've ever done with crochet. Hopefully it turns out okay! I am on the third row now. :)

I love that you used a bright pink hook and white yarn. It made it very easy to see exactly what you were doing. Thanks so much!

Just finished this. I used to crochet when I was younger but that was so long ago, I definitely consider myself a beginner. And this was the perfect project to get back in the groove. I did 80 chains altogether and used 7 yarns of wool. This is finished very quickly, and it's so much fun. The result is beautiful and it's so warm.

I made two. One 10 crochet hook and 5 skeins of bernat blanket. Large ones. I think 90 chains. Can’t remember. I did another one 15 crochet hook. 4 bernat blanket big ones. 72 stiches across. But I ruined it adding a border. The first one I added a shell border and it wasn’t great but no big holes like second one. First one big enough for 2 people to snuggle.
