Damn, I been using Chun Li and this is my first SF. Been stuck in Silver 4-5 on classic

Chun isn't that hard in the grand scheme of hard fighting game characters. She's just hard within this game (and less so if you play technical characters often). Even with Chun you can get by with just a few of her pokes and stance normals, her AAs and throwing fireballs.

You just gotta practice more with her and you’ll be fine man . Chun is a great character just requires some practice.

Chun is a pain in the ass to ACTUALLY get good with. Her fundamental game ( neutral, fireball, and anti-airs) are pretty easy and straight foward, but beyond that and getting to a deeper level with her, optimal combos, implementing drive rush correctly or to extend combos, timing, etc makes her a headache. Shes actually one of if not THE last character i would recommend to someone first picking up the game.

I'd put Dee jay harder to learn than cammy and juri, I agree with the rest

If you mean for a beginner, maybe. But as soon as you get through the base layer of fundamentals, Cammy is harder than Dee Jay. She's not as straight-forward, and she requires more knowledge/execution to deal as much damage (if even) or to be as effective. Juri is easier than both of them for sure though.

Not sure i agree? For most "beginners", i don't think charge motions are hard at all, it's just when you're already into fighting games that the transition may be hard, but if you already played charge characters, it's not biggie, and things like oki setups or meaties are basically irrelevant for pure beginners.

Trust me for beginners combining into charge motions are very hard for beginners it’s only in street fighter do you have to hold back during a combo

Charge was supposed to be the original "easy input" but having to juggle the extra arbitrary restriction of time ended up making it difficult and annoying to play. Once you learn charge though the characters, especially in SF, tend to be scrubby and play themselves without the person needing to know much about neutral or spacing making it much easier to pick up wins once you get used to it.

@@Marjuany he has no projectiles he has to work to get an spd he is not very good unless he is in the right hands every fighting game noob always says grapplers are easy and OP but it's a very difficult and niche archetype

​​​@@cosmic5665 true, but he also has multiple tools with armor now so he can just tank through neutral, and his combos are very short and easy with high damage. Oh and his command grab range is ridiculously good now. If your opponent is spamming projectiles you can just read the next fireball and counter with his level 1 super cyclone grab that goes through projectiles. He has solid answers for all his problems tbh.

@@SpiritFighter900 the super red cyclone is level 2 and inputs are not the difficulty it's actually winning neutral which is difficult I can almost never land a grab on a guile

I feeli like Luke is harder than the other chars in 'easiest' the perfect timing on some special moves makes him harder than Ryu imo and the combos feel harder

Imo Guile is not easy. His combos are hard, and having to load his blank kicks and sonic booms all the time is stressful unless of corse youve played sf before

His combos are really hard but his game plan is simple. Only play if you have good charge experience

@@BringBackKarinInSf6 I’ve honestly been grinding him since I commented this and I’m currently gold lol! But my combo game is also gold rank; I’m okay at punishing jump-ins w flash kick but landing his charging supers in clutch moments is so hard for me.
