Becky ! I made this sauce with a mix of red chilli peppers and a couple of red bell peppers, and with my small yellow banana chillies with some yellow bell pepper for a bit of bulk. What a success !! SOOOOOOOOO delicious, and sooooo easy !! I doubled the recipe and I used my Ninja IQ 1000 blender. Oh and since I started making your cowboy candy I am totally addicted and I now have 6 jalapeño plants in my garden !! Thanks Becky !!

HI ya sweet pea! Love all you do. Back in the day I use to can everything I could get my hands on. I would pickle what I would call the end of the garden. Just some of this and some of that. Nothing went to waste. We had so many blue lake bush beans one year. I didn't have a regular caner so I used a 4 quart pressure cooker to process what turned out to be 100 quarts of beans. It took forever but I made it. I love watching you and love your passion. God Bless ya sweetie. I have learned so much watching you. Hugs from Becky in OHIO

I ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS SO MUCH BECAUSE THO I AM OLD I KNOW I WILL LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT HOMESTEADING WHICH I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO DO FOR DECADES BUT NEVER HAD A PARTNER WHO THOUGHT THE SAME WAY. SO NOW I WILL BE DOING MY LIFES END WITH MY BESTFRIEND AND SISTER IN THE LORD. THAT BRING ME JOY TOO! I THINK I HAVE A GOOD 25 YEARS LEFT IN ME. I PERSONALLY THINK IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL TO STRIVE HARD FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS TO ACCOMPLISH AND ENJOY MY NEW LIFE FOR THE REMAINDER OF 20 YEARS BEFORE I GO HOME WITH THE LORD. I LOVE SEEING THE LORD WORKS IN YOU AND HOW APPRECIATIVE YOU ARE OF YOUR BLESSING. My fiance has become so excited and enjoys cooking... and let me tell you my stomach is enjoying every bit of it... legit theeee BEST meals I have ever tasted... and he is into kitchen appliances now... crazy.. I have been cooking for this man for 10 years since we been together and even before that since we grew up living right next door and best friends... he would come over for all of my grandparents home cooked meals or barbecues we would have every single weekend... but all of the sudden he is some master chef lol... my only complaint is I haven't been able to taste his cooking sooner lol... but I just recommended your channel so he can get all of the things he needs and some tips... I told him how you swear on the vitamix so that is now his new dream is to save up for one... since covid hit bills are the only thing we can afford... the other day he saved up just enough to get a garlic presser and it didn't work so he is a little untrusting... I feel soo bad he was sooo sad 😥 😞... I hope this next thing won't disappoint 🙏 😔

Wow! You are an inspiration to me. When I was a newlywed I did exactly the same things you are doing now. When we had children, we raised them with eating our own home grown produce that I canned and froze. Now, empty nester's I no longer have a garden but my 90 yo parents do and I get a lot of things from them. I've been freezing but the last two years have been canning more and it has brought back memories. We have children that are good meal preppers but none of them do food preservation but they are young yet that perhaps when/if they have children that might still happen. One person said you are probably the best youtuber out there and I agree wholeheartedly. I love everything about you!

Hi Becky, That looks yummy! I have been growing peppers and making hot sauce for about 4 years and its so good. I have found that the Red Thai Chili's make my most favorite sauce yet. I actually marinate mine for about a week to 10 day with the peppers, onions, garlic, brine of salt, vinegar and water. It softens them so I can blend them, and then I cook them on the stove. Its delicious. I really enjoy your videos thank you for making them!

I made this hot sauce today and two cups of vinegar was not enough liquid, as cooking it for the suggested time to allow vegetables to cook down reduced it so much. I’ll just thin it down with additional vinegar as I open each jar. This made seven 1/2 pints for me. I made mine with habanero and sweet red peppers but not enough sweet because it’s too hot! Thanks for sharing.

You reminded me that I had not yet gathered hot Italian peppers from the farm market/coop garden for my own hot sauce. I borrowed a little from your recipe. I used Serrano peppers, garlic, white vinegar instead of my kombucha vinegar, and my own honey replaced your sugar. Mine usually ferments in my dark pantry, but I have a gallon to can! I will go through the gallon alone over winter. Great over scrambled eggs.

vitamix for the win!!! Worth every damn penny. In the Caribbean we love hot sauce - although here we lovingly refer to it as "pepper sauce". We make it with significantly less vinegar and we tend to add a mix of peppers including what we call seasoning peppers - which have a delicious flavor but no heat - so we have a rounded flavor. some add even fruit like mango etc an sometimes seasonings such as culantro and thyme. we also dont blend it as smooth - But NO caribbean household is complete without pepper sauce! Definitely gonna try this more "tabasco" style sauce recipe though! Thanks for the inspo!

I just made this...Amazing! I had some red and green hot peppers diced up in the freezer. I had my son pull the remaining pepper plants out of the garden. He showed me we still had a couple handfuls of hot peppers still on the plants (many not ripened) so I decided to make this recipe to see how it would be with both ripe and partially ripe peppers. Man was it yummy! Just enough heat for me! LOL! :D

I’ve been slowly starting to enjoy mildly spicy foods as an adult. I never was fed spicy food as a kid. So I’ve never thought of trying to make my own hot sauce but I still love the video. I love that you talk fast, me too 🙋🏼‍♀️

Good morning Becky! Patrice over at Rural Revolution has posted that Lehmans have a new stock of All American Canners, as well as bulk canning lids and reusable canning lids. Just sharing, as shortages of lids has been such a problem this year. Love your utube videos - keep up the great work!

Oh my gosh….you have more energy in your little finger than I have in my whole body lol….that’s so sad for me!! I’m a truck driver and can’t wait to retire and see if I can do everything that you do on these videos. I’m 60 and don’t have time to exercise. It makes me tired just watching you! But know that you are such an inspiration and I am going to do as much as I possibly can when I have the opportunity with your videos as guidance. Just wow 😮
