Why you gotta hate
@seniru18202 жыл бұрын
It’s just a regular filter. The sugar particles are soluble and are already mixed with the soda. You can evaporate the soda to obtain sugar and other chemicals. This filter cannot filter sugar. That’s general knowledge!! EDIT: Many people are arguing with me about this so here's what I gotta say. Coke contains dissolved sugar therefore it contains sugar solution. Sugar solution is a homogeneous mixture .Its particles are stable and are too small to be filtered out using a filter like this. There are other processes in which you can separate it but it is not possible to filter a homogeneous mixture using the process of filtration.

@@gregtavarez3322 No? Carbonation is just CO2. It's a gas. During the filtering the gas escaped, but that wasn't caused by the filtering. The same thing would have happened if he poured out that amount of soda in a cup and let it sit for the same amount of time.

@@PunkZombie1300 Where are your sources. I’d hypothesize that the filter aids in loss of carbonation due to the constant interaction of the soda with the rocks and such. If you run soda down a slide and collect it at the bottom, a lot more carbonation escapes than if you carry it in a cup from the top to the bottom.

@@rustyshackleford2808 It only works if you dump a clod of dirt into water and then filter that. This is a primitive water filter. Also he used a bunch of things that technically work for the purpose but are more "TikTok Materials". You want a piece of cotton layered several times, some sand, pebbles, and small stones. Activated charcoal helps the process too. The product is inferior to modern tapwater, but it does clear out most of the contamination, the rest of which you can usually eliminate by boiling. This guy is just an idiot who used the wrong filter for the problem he wanted to solve.

To reverse engineer a liquid is difficult, but to get sugar you would need an alteration filter not a phisical strainer like youve made. If anything, there is more stuff inside of the liquid you had in the cup after going through your "filter" which was definitely just a drip system. It could've worked with a drip system where it passes through a catalyst that attracts and stores only sugar.
