*EASIEST* WAY TO INSTALL BMW G8X YELLOW CSL DRL MODULES (G80 G82 G81)

I just did this job on my G20 330i. Much, much harder on the outer lights because one of the three T20 torx screw is hidden behind a small steel frame and it takes a lot of patience and perseverance to finally get them off. Yes, both sides are the same difficulty. Inner lights are a walk in the park job.

@@omerta2002 installed approx 2 months ago and there is no issue so far. Look good like they are factory fitted. You can just google "bmw g20 drl yellow headlights", will give you purchase options there. Make sure you know whether your headlights are the LED or Laser type.

i drilled a hole in the brackets small enough to fit a torx allen key through, and it made accessing those screws SOOOO much easier. Especially if I need to swap them back later, the holes are already there.

I want to get these installed on my 730D, 2017 plate would they work? Also, I've never had much experience in getting drl's fitted, do they reduce visibility compared to the stock / original ones, is there any difference to this? Thanks.

Looks nuts! It’s illegal in Germany though. Still wanna go for it. Is there a chance to get it with a remote for choosing between yellow and white? 😅

@@elpapito7809 yes. The law says the road must not be illuminated with yellow light. That’s what’s the problem with this modules. I can’t control whether it’s white or yellow 🥲

Nope. If fuel pump failed, the DRL are not the cause 😂😂

Is it possible to code the lights to have the blue light on as daytime running lights?

You would have to have an RGB Led for that, plus a separate module to control when they would switch. Much more complicated setup.
