00:00 - Intro
01:00 - Your basic but, dare I say, essential-to-know-how-to-paint: garden leaf.
02:20 - Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, yes please.
04:54 - Oh! Don’t miss this tip!
05:22 - Little cutie baby leaves.
07:06 - Two layer leaf, we’ve only just begun…
07:50 - You can do this, the rose leaf.
09:14 - Long, folded tulip leaf twisting in the wind.
10:09 - Rosemary thyme! (Wait, which is it?!)
11:24 - Do you enjoy it or taste soap? Comment below. It’s cilantro.
12:05 - You might be saying… But…
13:32 - You love it, you need it: the peony leaf.
14:30 - SO MANY ask about this problem! Watch this.
15:04 - Because we all need a longer, jagged burnt reddish kind of leaf…
17:01 - Let’s regroup here for simple, basic leaf principles.
17:42 - Details on the layered leaf.
18:30 - And some details on the peony leaves.

This is the best way to unwind from work. THis si so uniquely calming but just challenging enough for me to actually practice. And as I am never able to figure out sketching I can still get a relatively pretty painting without it. It also holds a little bit of Bob Ross vibes with pretty little flowers and paint what makes you happy.

I love all of your tutorials and quite often go back to the old ones. You are a very good teacher, easy to follow. I find loose painting challenging in general (I call it my heavy hand so the cilantro does not look anything even close to yours or the real thing. I loved the jagged edge leaf. I had trouble with the little cutie baby leaves. I don't think I had enough paint on my brush....couldn't get them to look like a leaf shape as in your example. Thank you for the description as you paint. So helpful. Like that I can pause to watch the stroke of the brush. :)

Great tutorial! My favorite is the cilantro leaf ^^, the challlenging one, the red jagger leaf, my waves were like spikes, I think my paint was too dried, I will keep practicing that one :) Thanks Jenna!

I really enjoy loose style leaves, the first ones she painted, as well as the "cilantro" type leaves she dots around her flower bundles. What I'd like to see more of are big flower bouquet paintings with all sorts of flowers elements. I love those. There's also a technique called the negative painting technique where you paint around an object and I've been trying to learn it. Makoccino does this in a few of her videos, but I have trouble following her tutorials because of there's a lot of editing cuts while she paints and it's very confusing.

Hey Angela! Thanks for commenting and giving great feedback. Glad you liked the video. Funny you mentioned the negative space painting, I just came out with a video how to paint white flowers, which shows in detail a lot of negative painting. You should definitely check that out if you haven’t, and also bc it’s a nice little floral bouquet. Sounds like just the video for you. It’s a recent one, from the last week or two. Thanks for watching! ❤️

I liked learning how to paint a rose leaf And I love the taste of cilantro and feel badly that it tastes like soap to some people cuz it's such a nice flavor in Mexican and Thai cuisine.
