Filming tip: Sit down or put your camera on books or something tall enough to make it higher. Seems like a simple remedy. the camera lens needs to be slightly above your fingers/fretboard in order to see the exact placement of your fingers otherwise I mostly see the back of your hands. Thanks for ur lessons!

Don't change a thing. This is great. This is at a level where I can pick up the guitar and learn without getting frustrated or discouraged. To watch a great player do something farily basic without moving into impossible land too quickly is very rare. Excellent niche.

@@2011goldtop you are recording this in the audio sweet spot. close enough to the amp an pointed towards the next room, man you could dime your amp and it would sound so good from that spot. your neighbors i bet would agree. ;-)

Ford, I appreciate the advanced lessons and the less advanced lessons equally, when taught by the likes of you, or Guthrie, or any of the other awesome players giving lessons on you tube. I have learned so much just watching lessons on basics that I may have missed in the early days. I have watched basic arpeggio lessons and Bonamassa lick lessons on the same day lol

Great perspective my friend...Keep the vids coming. Love where my musical mind goes when I listen to your phrasing and grooves. Your unique style & tone set you apart from the guitar "Cats". I can pick your sound out blindfolded. I see your channel growing already. See you around town.

Love your stuff, Ford. Am sure you've been asked this a million times but what pedal you using with the Deluxe? Such a sweet tone! Use a '64 Deluxe myself, and it loves pedals like no other. Thx!

Hey Ford , I see the Fender Amp in the background . In your opinion which Fender amp is best for that overdrive break up sound ? I'm struggling to achieve the tone I want . I own a Fender Hot Rod Deville 2/12 and a Marshall JCM 900 100 watt model 4100 head with a 4/12 Marshall cab . Would you suggest some amps that have a great OD tone ?
@2011goldtop2 жыл бұрын
Your Deville is good . Get some good drives . A windford drive . Maybe a nobles odr1 ., ?

i dont get why a 9 is a 9. if i count a major scale it goes to 7 right? so whats a 9, 11 or whatever?
@garyeggleton11422 жыл бұрын
if you play the major scale from the 6th string up to the octave....you end up back on the 1, or 8 ( same thing )...after the octave, the 2 becomes 9, the 4 becomes 11, and the 6 becomes 13... :)
