I piss around the base of the stem cluster. Sometimes I get a little stage fright and can't pee, especially when a neighbor is walking by. I then just imagine I am pissing on Nancy Pelosi's head or down Hillary Clinton's mouth and wallah, I piss like a racehorse. My hydrangeas are the envy of the neighborhood, they would make even 'good ol' Mr. George Wilson jealous.

Do you just sprinkle it on top of the dirt and how quickly does it change? I just planted some blues that matched everything in my garden and they’re already turning pink days later. Will it work this year? And what kind of coffee grounds use or fresh?

@@jodyr.232 I just sprinkled my used coffee grounds around the plant ( I used tim hortons I asked if I could have any used coffee ground they were going to throw out ), the color changed quickly, the same year. You could do a soil test, get some dirt from around your plant and take it to a nursery, to do a soil test ( if you have an English garden or a place like that, you can call and see if they do soil tests . You could also type in search box and see what the ph range for color the blues and pink flowers so you know what to add or not add in acids or other nutrients you may need for the desired results you are looking for. I used Tim Hortons, I just went there and asked if I could have their used coffee ground and they gave me some. You could do a soil test , have them help you in the right direction ( a nursery like English gardens or the like ) but sounds like your soil is no very acidic for your hydrangea to turn pink that fast. Just put a bunch a cup or 2 of coffee grounds around the base, water well and see what happens, if you need more add more coffee grounds after a few weeks . Look up more videos here on youtube and see what they say. Hope this helps.

I have been adding the same soil acidifier to my hydrangeas every 4 weeks for the last 2 years but they are still pink

Same here. My plant is probably 5 years old. Grows very pretty every year with green foliage but with no blooms. And I have never cut it back. By this point I have forgotten what color the blooms would be if it ever bloomed again.

@yume816 I'm in 7b. I'm in middle TN. It does get a lot of sun in that area. I've thought about moving it. Just need to find a place for it. I've pretty much planted something in all areas. I bought it and planted it because I thought it was pretty. That's before I really got into gardening and learning about plants.

You don't have to be sorry. Those products are the best I have found to get the job done. It takes about 6 weeks to alter soil ph. Thanks for tuning in!
