Yo, I just have to say from an old head who has no idea about DAWS and just picking up some tips here and there, You have the best clarity on the subjects I needed regarding reason and ableton. Its good to learn from a young head who knows what they are talking about and not trying to teach it they way YOU think it should be taught but exactly how it is. This was helpful and also watching your whats wrong with reason video. I really like reason but I'm also finding Ableton to do some work for certain projects as well. Again well done with your channel tuts.

Oh that’s cool!! My brother is auditory and visual so he loves turning on 3 different screens at a time and all of the led lights in the room. I got him headphones for every device so he doesn’t have to turn anything down. I think he wants to sign but he’s rather talk to me because he knows I understand him regardless. Tell your daughter I said hello!

The sensitivity can be used to mimic midi velocities in a programmed midi part ...the trick is to note the order of the slices in order of loudness ..so it might be slice 1 which has the greatest velocity (loudness) ..then slice 5 ...then slice 3 ..then slice 2 ..then 4 ...etc ...we get an order of loudness ..and with a bit of math we can convert the percentages to 0-127 midi data ..Now we can program a midi line with the stresses or accents from the audio loop. Big love to you and the show.

It’s definitely more streamlined than using the sequencer, converting manual or auto slices to Rex files after editing, and then figuring out the easiest way to trigger them. 🤯 Small improvement, but a good one.

Hi Jelie Can MiMic do Mpc Style chopping where i can just load a loop set it to 1 bar and 1/16 signature so it automatically chops the sample to equal 16 chops? also can it be programmed like mpc where i can play all samples in poly put them in one group that technique always worked for me best and also Direct record mod on mpc was fire is it possible to do that in mimic or reason ? As Always Thank you for sharing the knowledge .
@KickbackCouture3 жыл бұрын
Nope! It doesn’t allow equal part chopping. If your loop has transients in the exact right places then yes. It doesn’t add much functionality to the rack in my opinion. It’s just another sampler in the tool bag. It doesn’t group, you’ll have to use Kong for that. Thank you for your support!
@TheShufler3 жыл бұрын
Last time I used reason was the 5th and now I want to get back in it. I never bought the actual thing back then it was a crack but is worth buying it now for the 12th version ? I have an extra $500 from my shiba inu gains couple days ago.

how stable is R12 compared to R11? what OS are you running?
@Elcanario913 жыл бұрын
Imo its more glitchy, seems unpolished
@KickbackCouture3 жыл бұрын
There’s no added stability in R12, it’s actually worse for me. I’m on a Macbook Pro 2.9 GHz Intel Core i9 / 32 GB of Memory but I just got a Windows computer because everything seems to be more stable there. 😁
@xkidmidnightx5 ай бұрын
The main thing I dislike about Mimic is that you can repitch individual slices in slice mode. You can do it in Dr Octorex. You can do it in the sequencer. You cant do it in the device meant to chop things up. So weird.
@postman8783 жыл бұрын
When using reverse effect for the drum part I notice the whole drum kit is in reverse can you just select the one you want to reverse instead of the whole thing?
