I was actually really suprised when i was building my wotc collection. Full nm holo sets are relatively cheap(dont get trapped in the graded slab game 99% of the time its not worth it). Its when you get to aquapolis and skyridge when things get crazy. Just started my ex era collection... that is a whole different animal to get in nm. Like always great video!

The Vileplume is one of my favourite Jungle holographic cards, the artwork colours really go well against the green foil. It's petals represents the symbol for the jungle cards which I find interesting, Vileplume is the hallmark for jungle basically and I love it.

Love this! This is the education a lot of people need. Makes no sense to buy a sealed vintage pack (to open), when you can complete the set for an affordable price. As you said LP are great too, they look basically as good in a binder!

I don't think we have the same idea of "cheap, budget and affordable" here. In my city inside California $18 is enough to feed me for a two weeks. Chicken drumsticks cost $5-6 for a pack of 12. Each day I could eat two for dinner. Sure, minimum wage is going up, but have you looked at the price of things lately? It's going up too. Rent in my city is $1000 MINIMUM for a one bedroom apartment and I don't even live in the good area of my city... Last week I went to a freaking Carl's Jr and a whole combo cost almost $30. Holy freak, I stopped going to Carl's Jr after that. That's INSANE. Collecting lightly played would probably be the way to go, but my reasons still remain. If you're working casual job and living paycheck to paycheck pokemon card is the least of your concerns. It's actually feels so wrong how companies still shove this type of stuff in our faces when they know we are the a city with huge amount of people on welfare and poverty. I forgot to say, I do very much appreciate this video. Helped me find a complete jungle card list

odds are you cant get these cards from the same buyer and your shipping would add like another $80 and tcgplayer when you buy near mint you arn't always getting a near mint cause anyone can make a seller account on there. they might say near mint bit its light played or worse. they just say near mint better off buying this kind of thing on ebay where you have a photo of the picture as most posts on tcg do not have pics of cards. I am a seller on whatnot also. and ive notice most people dont care about vintage at all in pokemon now days. most people only want full arts or alt arts thats it. im asked all the time about the full art EX cards. no one really cares about vintage. i bet like 10% of the people care for vintage now days if that. most of these people grew up in 2009+ that are into pokemon now days and thye are more into modern full art style cards nothing else. this is why a Moonbreon in a psa 10 sells for more than a psa 9 base set charizard. just about the only thing that holds value in vintage are PSA 10 thats it. example a PSA 9 Erikas Venusaur just sold for $106 on auction. you can sell a umbreon from modern and buy 5 of those psa 9 venusaurs. or sell 1 of the new lugia alt art raw ungraded and buy two of these psa 9s. Vintage is basically done growing and its not an investment anymore. its been out long enough its not going anywhere unless there is a boom. if your looking to invest long term id suggest buying and holding modern pokemon booster boxes or ETBs of special sets dont buy vintage as noone wants it really thats why its not worth anything.
