Hi Kristine, I had a pop up camper with a short tow bar and that was the hardest thing to put where you want especially if your camp site is up a hill and directly to the right at the same time. I have driven ambulances and fire trucks for a living as a first responder and I could put those machines anywhere!! But that pop up camper was such a pain. An extension bar they didn’t make. My wife and I moved and we hired a company to help and they couldn’t back the truck up to my back door so I had too. Love the new kayak sorry I missed out on your used one. My second granddaughter was born! My third is due in 3 weeks all girls that are going fishing with grandpa. They will use their mom’s fishing poles. My girls were fishing by 5 years old and they loved it!!!! So did I 😊

Kristine I just ordered a Tennessee Trailer Double yak trailer. It’s like yours. David is out of town until Monday and when he returns I have a few suggestions I want to inquire about. A suggestion on the trailer safety is something at the front of the rails to prevent the yak visiting you in the truck should you hit something. Several years ago I was pulling my bass boat on I-10 in Texas and a van pulled in front of me when they missed their cut off. I was running 70-75 mph. When she attempted to cross the lain an auto was coming and she stopped causing me to rash into her. My bass boat 20’ came through the new aluminum trailer in the rear of my SUV stopping 4-5 ft short of the front seat destroying 17 rods and several reels. The trailer was a very strong trailer. Now the boat was much heavier than a yak, BUT!!! I met “G” at the yak store in Dallas when I was picking up Hobie PA 14 360. It was last year. G christen my Blue yak. I’m going to suggest to Dave we build my yak with a way to secure the yak at the nose. I’ve asked Dave if he would call you and ask you to contact me, as I want your experience with the trailer to see what you might suggest. I got a Hobie after watching you and listening to you. It’s my 3rd yak. Hope we can talk? 3:54

Nice if ya got deep pockets !!!! the only way to go. I made one that launches like that from a Harbor freight trailer , $400 for trailer $250 for the rest ! My Kayak got way too many add-ons to do the truck bed thing, too much time setting up, now just backup the already rigged kayak and launch!!

Hi, Kristine. Looks like a great trailer. I assume G is in a NuCanoe Pursuit. I've just purchased an Unlimited and have an old jet ski trailer with carpeted bunks that I want to refit with the tubular bars. Does G position the bars so they fit in the "grooves" under the hull, or on the flat part of the hull outside the grooves? Also, does your trailer manufacturer offer the bars with the adjustable fittings that I saw on yours? That would make a super easy conversion.

Sad to see what simple kayak fishing has gotten too! While I was kayak fishing in Florida today I watched a guy fishing in a flats boat and he basically never lifted his head or even had a rod in his hand. Just watched the live scope cruising up and down the shoreline. I have no electronics on my kayak and ended up catching eight trout and two flounder in the same area. I’m sorry I can’t support this madness and hopefully others will not support any organizations allowing it!

Curve the arms of glasses (it's possible to put a sizeable curve into most spectacle arms, if you're careful and make the curve gradually along length of spectacle arms). News flash, skulls aren't 'square', they're round, or kind of 'oval' in plan.

Don't get mistaken that it's spectacle nose rest's which don't do what they're supposed. It's actually the curvature of spectacle arms seen in plan (from above), which holds the lens, and prevents the nose rest from slipping down. Not the actual nose rest.

Reason which spectacle arms are straight, is not because people have square heads. But because, in manufacture it would just take too long to build curvature in. If that 'bow' is present, you shouldn't require any mad 'hook' to the arm, to fit behind ears either. Which just cuts into ears anyhow.

Ideally what you want to see looking down at spectacles, when the arms are outstretched, and spectacles are laying on a table surface, is more akin to a circle (try and make ends of both arms of spectacle almost meet each other). Not the usual 'rectangular' form you see, when spec's are brand new. Save you time worrying about wearing 'em, after while you'll almost not notice they are there.
