Is the branded/verified number from Retell a must? Cause without it seems most calls will be marked as spam by Caller ID

It's not required, you can just purchase additional numbers.

Yo Brendan how do I make the AI gauge questions properly? For example, whenever i ask "How much is it?" it does not answer it properly. Instead, it answers a different question within the ballpark of the price objection. So for example, it answers "How much is it per lead?" instead of "how much is it upfront." How do I make the AI gauge better? I'm using VAPI btw.

This is all to do with prompt engineering. Try being very direct to the AI on the order in which the questions should be asked, and that its critical it does so.

Lol. There's software that connects directly to Retell, makes all the outbound calls you want AND charges $25 per 5000 dials + has analytics. Which is... 0.005$ per dial...just like Retell charges. What...a...coincidence...
