ESO Wardancer, Full Moon Soul Eater, BK Breaker. Wardancer will be the most familiar as they share moves, but deathblow and ESO are very similar but it isn’t a positional class. FM SE you build full gauge then go into burst mode and unleash three hitmaster skills that do crazy damage. BK Breaker mostly builds then throws two skills that do all its damage.

The last section has some great picks for new players. Pistoleer deadeye, wind fury aeromancer, evolution scouter, demonic shadowhunter are all great starter classes. If you check out my solo raid series, u can see how gunlancer fares as a solo raid char, little too easy in my opinion but I don’t know if it’s necessarily fun.

Ayo, currently unsure about making SE, Wardancer or Pistoleer. I pretty much only play solo atm, and I prefer hit master. My main is WF Aero, which of the 3 do you think makes most sense? Pistoleer looks neat for chaos dungeon, but idk how good it is for solo raids lol

Out of the 3, wardancer will be the clunkiest and most challenging to play optimally. ESO is slow and requires auto attacking and being tight with boss to have its bubble always pumping gauge. FI on the other hand has great mobility, but people don’t like having to manually explode EC. Pistoleer I don’t have personal hands on with, but I imagine in solo raids will function somewhat similar to what you are experiencing at the moment with WF aeromancer. It is even one more step removed into ease of play, because atleast with WF you need to alternate shield build skill into shield use skill. SE is my go to pick for everyone initially. NE has a repetitive rotation, but if u do it right it’s satisfying and super uptime class. Alternatively, FM has kind of a similar rotation, but once meter is fully built u press x to unleash huge dmg all at once with all 3 pink skills in a burst. For your sake, unless you want the challenge it’s between Pistoleer and SE, and I don’t think there’s a bad pick here especially when referring to solo. Whichever play style or animations are calling out to you the most!

Pistoleer is by far the easiest class in the game, even than Aero WF, because you basically just need to use any skill that isn't on the CD to get good damage. I've played with all the classes, and in my opinion, the easy classes so far are Deadeye Pistoleer, Aero Windfury, Slayer Predator, Shadowhunter Demonic, Breaker First King, Sorceress Reflux and Paladin Bless Aura (if you like sup). All other classes, although some are easier and others are more difficult, require a certain level of experience to be efficient, otherwise they will be carried in raids.

I think the increase in Full Moon popularity is due to how incredibly easy it is to top dps in most raids...as long as you land your skills you probably top. It has no set rotation and plays as a builder spender that ends also has MASSIVE payoff in the form of its burst mode, in which you can pretty easily dump 500 mil as a 1580. It can do this every ~18-20 seconds based on Vestige CD gem level. It is currently one of my 3 favorite classes, alongside Burger King and Rage Hammer and will likely be my main once I push it up to 1620. It also has tripod diversity on its damage skills, namely guillotine swing, in which you can use any of the second row tripods and reapers scythe can either remove its back attack modifier or get push immunity from the first row, and you can go with the instant cast or charge tripods on both vestige and reapers scythe depending on the raid...like I use instant cast vestige in gate 1 Kayangel cuz he moves so much...oh, and you can go without your conter in favor of another gauge generator (coffin) if you are in a gate in which there isnt a counter mech or you can rely on your party mates to land their counters...and you can have push immunity on your counter. Its genuinely one of the least stressful classes to play.

Heres my list of who i like to play, which is whats most important right :), some classes are really overlooked and some data can be skewed due to not many players playing them and those who do dont submit the data, i believe they do have potential to do great damage and can do well alongside all the other classes, just needs the right players. Sharpshooter Artillerist Striker Gunlancer Paladin Soulfist Shadowhunter Id like to add Machinist too because i like the transform skill, but its kit is just wierd feeling to me, having to micro manage your drone, and not being able to get any meter, and practically not alot of damage out of your smg skills (yellow skills) is pretty sad :( if i could id use the yellow skills and a couple of the cool combined skills (purple skills) but its not gonna fill my meter nearly as fast as only the purple skills will fill the bar with that setup, and like i said the transform skill is one of the coolest parts of the class that i liked. Rework or buff to the yellow skills would be very nice to see, but for now that class is shelved for me, but its still cool and i like seeing them around.

Souleater is my go to answer for anyone who doesn’t have one. Slayer is an entropy class, which means back attack oriented,which makes it harder in general to play in comparison. Predator slayer has its annoyances as illustrated in its section but is a super fun uptime class when exhaustion debuff doesn’t creep in. If you are leaning towards slayer, go with it, but know it will take more energy to play it optimally than souleater. Both are great picks, it’s just souleater imo is super fun regardless of the spec chosen.

@NMamoru you will likely enjoy both, but slayer as the 2nd pick you pick up is the likely better timeline, as souleater will get you comfortable with raids and slayer regardless of spec will be great with boosted experience after that! Enjoy!

You don't need to hit the red dust anymore to get the attack % boost, it's granted on use, even if skill is interrupted midway, it was changed a couple of months ago

SE and Breaker are great picks, I would lean more towards SE for a new or returning player, but breaker is still a great super fun option, regardless of the spec you pick. Master summoner does a lot of damage but I would classify this character as difficult to play effectively because of long cast times and positioning whilst doing this. Machinist is a decent pick. AT (the drone build) is a little more difficult to play as there is partial drone management required, but it offers great stagger and damage when playing optimally. EVO (it’s Ironman build) is a transformation class similar to DI Shadowhunter and considered simple to play and makes it great casual class to play!

strongest and easy to play. tai (yellow) Scrapper (back attack) Feflux Sork Pistoleer Full Moon Soul eater BUT 1800 spec 600 swift and build for this.(non meta) its best adwise for new or returning players,and also as NON main character. All of them Press buttons as fast as can and land hits.Thats all what you need to this Builds work.They all have good mobility. Not neew All runes,not need High gems. my experience since KR Beta test. have all classes.

@@cyberyaya8483 this game now have only ONE expeption in Damage PS. its a Burst blade. She REALY difficulty, but if you KNOW figth, you are KING. All other classes and builds have same DPS. No matter who you choose. Difference between classes and builds depends on Difficulty. How much do you wana do to have same DPS as others? What play style do you wana? THAT what you need ask yous self. my examples its MOST EASY to make same DPS as others with out some mechanics but they have difference in play style ( Gun pal, melee puncher, wizard, same wizard but in necromancer theme with Button to make BIG DAMAGE hits). all of them a realy realy good for begingers or non main. and they still REALY GOOD as MAIN character. cuz all deal same DPS, but with difference in amount of mechanical input from player. You can literaly choose ANY one in ANY engraving and Be Cruel. even Paladin DPS. YES they exist. More over. They Bus Drivers,Cruel and Close End content(but not any one take you in party in DPS palading. if some one wana. just fins some videos about " DPS paladin".

But yeah its hard. But from what i have been seeing, like in the damage charts. Breaker and igniter also does insane amount of damage compared to other classes. So i doubt every class does the same dps like u said.

@@cyberyaya8483 if you wana be meta chaser to change class what have 5%-7% EVERY patch. yes you can do it. but be ready to spend 10-20k $ every patch. BUT do not forget : you must have knowledg and skill to realize this 5% damage above others.and you must have Best is Slot gear to this 5% even appears.Also do not forgot about syncronizations with support on Burst(breaker Z or Sorc Z), otherswise you dps be UNDER any other class.and even this not all, breaker need gunlancer or blade to synergy, sorc need crit synergy in party to make this 5-7% work.

about the ceiling, most ppl wont come close to the ceiling in raids with their classes, so that shoul be a minimum factor tbh. my heart rn tells me to main destroyer and you seen his (and other) lists... xd

@jhalchan slayer is fun, but I don’t know about solo raid fun, SE of either are very fun, aeromancer or Pistoleer are very casual friendly as well as they don’t require much thought. Significantly easier to catch up now, more than ever before. The only thing new folks can’t speed run at the moment is cards, but solo raids and express servers in a month are a great steps made by the game for new players

I hate the idea of recommending supports more than 1 to newer players. Yes it is braindead to play with in the first place compare to playing dps classes however it is the one guy who has the most impact in the game. When the supports in most raids are not having cieling performance the raid is going to take a much longer time and making even raiding very difficult at all since your buffs as a support make more than 50% of the dmgers input and you having here 3 guys dpsing so your value is expected to be more than 150% of a dps class and if thats lacking because if bad uptimes on ap and brands then the experience is gonna be painful. (We re talking about 90%+ uptime considered good) I mean looking back in the days i ran with my static brel raids and me as support has really made crazy impact to my static's dps not even be nearly to get conquered. Like: talking about 25-35% cruel fighter dps. The next thing is the reliance as a shielder and healer/DR provider what makes a god support to a trashy one. Getting THAT good is something i believe newer players will need to spend a lot of time to achieve that kind of skill and learning of patterns by heart to protect from whats coming next. Newbie support wont even be able to maintain themselves alive... Concluding to what i ve said: get more experienced in the raids as dps-> then play supports. Nobody wants a trash sup or even a dead one. P.s. remembering you on atk malding because of dead support 😂

please if you are new don't make a support as your first character. This is an easy way to get blocked. Nobody likes playing with low uptime supports because their damage suffers immensely. its the difference between 30 mil and 40 mil from a bad support to a decent support and even more if you get a good support.

Play what sounds the most interesting for you. If you are good then you will do good irregardless. The description has a data driven dps list on current raids if that’s something you weight higher and if you’re new the latter section lists better new player friendly classes like Pistoleer or aero.

For having 8k hours you really didn't explain that the DPS meta changes with most balance patches. Choosing a character based on meta is a pretty awful baseline TBH...you'll wind up chasing meta and perpetually rerolling chars. Don't be a meta slave! New and returning players should pick what they think looks cool + how the class plays (APM, rotation, etc). That's it.

Hey man, appreciate the feedback. I would say I kind of did though and maybe you just didn’t hear it because of the super long length to this video. In the first section I highlighted in a few parts, specifically with the part where I mention a FP artillerist who does amazing damage, this isn’t meta in any way but he likes the class and made it work for him. The third section is completely dedicated to high apm classes that would be considered fun and also a few other picks to help a new player assimilate. Unfortunately, if i dedicated more than 5 minutes to highlighting this, more than what I already did it would be a waste. I’ve done this before and it becomes a dead zone in the video where everyone skips over it. Unfortunately people want the biggest and baddest at this very moment, even if it’s a detriment to their enjoyment of the game long term.
