Wish we could go back to the good days of the East Coast Mainline before the Azumas replaced the 43s and 91s

I ONCE saw double Class 91 (one work and other dead) on flat end behind DVT ( in case if you confused its 91 (working) + 91 (dead) + DVT + Mark 4) storm pass Adwick (north western of Doncaster) on Leeds (or Bradford) to Kings Cross in the early morning (8ish) this one is very rare caught and shame no video or photo on this day.

@mitchy754 yeah it does as we are not used to seeing it look like this

@Antthecool1 Every Coach B has no corridor connection, that is because they are positioned next to the 91

@benjirowlands Yes its the fact that the DVT cant communicate with the 91. This happened to me between Newcastle and Darlington

@lcpd119 The front engine must have broken down and the back engine must have rescued it, as there is no engine on the back

imagine one of those at either end instead of a dummy
@Martindyna7 жыл бұрын
Yes I've wondered that - with 2 locos it would be possible to make the traction motor gear ratios higher and an even higher top line speed could be achieved, provided that the suspension etc. is up to the job of course not to mention the track & signalling.
