I saw the old black and white intercity livery on a locomotive which was been actively used to pull passenger coaches when working next to a railway. Saw it more than once too. Wonder why it was been used?

The Intercity 91 is 91119. There is a 91 that’ll go to the NRM but it’s the one that set the speed record for an electric locomotive (I think it’s 91110)

They really need to be re-geared if used for heavy freight. Aren’t some going to Bulgaria? I believe these will be fitted with lower final drive gearing.

DVT(driving van trailer) is basically the britishfied F40PH NPCUs but instead calling them baggage its vans in the UK and its way older than F40s While the loco(the class 91) are basically the passanfer enquevilant of class 90 except the back cabs are flatter compared to the 90s

DVT is just a luggage coach with a cab on it and cables to control the locomotive when going the other way. It has no engine or traction motors

It's just storage, they're not being retired fully just yet.
