I think the west coast would absolutely win if it wasn’t for the pricing. I grew up on the east coast, in Florida but have been up and down trying to find what I was looking for. And I may not be on the coast of the west (I’m in Colorado) but I really enjoy the vast kinds different environments the west has to offer. And I’m obsessed with the mountains and the landscapes out here, and the seasons are absolutely beautiful. It honestly just depends on what you like.

I'm not sure why everyone thinks the West coast has no seasons, there are no seasons in the south and normal in the north....exactly like the east coast and the rest of the world it just depends how far away from the equator you are. like saying the east coast has no seasons because its always warm in Florida. Just fyi some of the best ski resorts in the country are in California, they've even hosted the Winter Olympics.

It's because you guys don't have fallen leaves like we do, and our weather is much more diverse since we have colder winters, and hotter summers. We get thunderstorms, hurricanes, and although it snows in the west coast, because it has a milder climate than the east coast, we get snowstorms, we have humidity which adds onto the heat which makes beach and pool days incredible. Since the west coast does not have deciduous forests, you guys do not get fall season like we do, small portions of trees do not count also. You guys have coniferous forests which are spruce or evergreen type of trees, they do not shed leaves. On the east coast our trees are very diverse, so we have a mixture of Deciduous and Coniferous forests. Apart from alaska, the east coast also has the states with the most snowfall in all of america. Despite this fact, Colorado, which is not on the west coast BUT is on the west part of the USA, has one of THE BEST skii resorts. Colorado being ranked 1st, Vermont 4th, and California 5th for the best skiing states. (vermont is on the east coast)

Eastie, from Boston! And excuse me, all Ivy League universities are in the East Coast. West Coast de Nada 😂😂😂. Also, NH, VT, has colorful leaves during fall season.

I think the East Coast is better and it ain't close. I think the attractions and national parks category should've been a tie and I'd give the population diversity category to the East Coast. I think the other categories were judged accurately. That would mean the East Coast 7 and the West Coast 4.

true!! california is considered SUPER diverse however. I'm from the east coast Born in miami and raised in Virginia, and despite our cubans, puerto ricans, asians, central americans, and indians.. there are higher numbers of each (apart from cubans) in the west coast. I was told there is a community inhabited by asians in california lol. As for attractions, I believe that shouldve been a tie. We still win in education and educated individuals. There are other categories that'll determine our victory tbf

The West Coast has larger Samoan, Tongan, Hawaiian, Iñupiaq, Yupik, Sugpiaq, Unangan, Athabaskan, Tlingit, Haida, Tsimshian, Lummi, Duwamish, Tulalip, Spanish, Norwegian, Swedish, Icelandic, German, Mexican, Somali, Filipino, Hmong, Lao, Vietnamese, Kenyan, Eritrean and Sudanese communities than the East Coast. The West Coast has more multiethnic people than the East Coast. The West Coast is the only place where you will see a neighborhood with people from Spain, Samoa, Tonga, Norway, Somalia, Germany, Sudan, Puyallup, Utqiagvik, Marysville, and Sleetmute all in the same building. The West Coast is clearly more diverse.

Alaska and Washington are hella diverse. Hella Indigenous peoples and Pacific Islander peoples on the West Coast.We also have the most diverse zip code in North America in Mountainview, East Anchorage, Alaska ,followed by Fairview, and Muldoon all in Anchorage, Alaska. Des Moines, Kent, Federal Way,SeaTac, Tukwila, and Tacoma in Washington are also hella diverse. In the city of Seattle, you got Dunlap, Rainier Beach, the Central District, and Beacon Hill. @@matiasmuttoni9044

The East Coast is much more diverse than the West Coast. New York and Florida combined are probably more diverse than the entire West Coast.
