There r 5 type of वायु in our body। प्राण वयान उधान समान अपान। When we body in facing east during motion the sirculation of अपान वायु is towards downwards। If we face any other direction the motion of this वायु will be in apposite direction । Which is harmful for our heart and not suitable for intestine cleansing। Please check
