@patrickilmoni93809 жыл бұрын
+ubinev Yes, its both sad and hilarious. I think I know what you mean, a lot of time has passed since the 50s. Nevertheless there were people back then too who were no fools, both in the East and in the West. And they as tou know had no reason to take the threat posed by communist militarists as something funny. I can, and I do laugh at this flick and all Honecker-nostalgists, and others who might genuinely feel for some guy like Gromyko. But I have met a lot of elder people who had seen much war and misery both during, and after WWII, and lived a lifetime in the shadow of the "Iron curtain". And they had to live through much hardship and injustice. For them this would be no laughing matter at all. Sometimes I feel like I am almost glad they are not around anymore. They would be so enraged by reading some of these comments, while others would laugh, and think this is all somekinda joke. Some sort of a billboard with writings from mentally ill people. XD

In the western allied section of Germany by 1949 the war scars was still visible. In the early 1950's Germany was undergoing a major transformation in it's economic system and was literally dusting itself off from the war. This was partly due to the Marshall Plan.West Germany enjoyed the economic boom of the 1950's through the mid 1970's. By 1960, the war torn buildings were repaired or rebuilt throughout Germany, so it took around 10 years. It took another 10 years to look modern as today.

General Suharto of Indonesia comes second with 500.000 communists murdered, but with over 600.000 communists killed in the 1930's in the USSR, Joseph Stalin is the biggest communist killer on this planet. But these poor kids in 1950 did not knew this, they believed the propaganda of the SED that Stalin was a peaceful man and a good communist. XtreemMetalMan Walter Ulbricht was the first (or almost first, i believe someone held the presidency for like a year before him) leader of the DDR. He was non as a very technologically focused socialist and he wanted to make a scientific planned economy. DDR growth rates increased during his rule until he was replaced by Honecker. Enver Hoxha was the leader of Albania from '45-'54 but maintained power in other roles until the 80's. Under his rule, Albania reduced its iliteracy from 95% to western levels, healthcare was improved and diseases were eradicated. The state university was built. Also he reformed argiculture, putting it in the hands of those who worked the land. A good socialist if there ever was one.

@Gufberg10 жыл бұрын
XtreemMetalMan I'm not in a position to judge whether or not Honecker was bad. He had a host of failed policies. Whether they failed due to his own incompetence, sabotage or internal resistance i don't know. All i know is that the economy stagnated under him. the 1956 revolt is, to my knowledge, overblown in the west. Its painted as this huge, spontaneous people's resistance against soviet overlordship. In reality, it was very small and isolated. Only few people participated in it and those who did were not against socialism, in fact, they were socialists. They were just against Soviet rule.

Theres notging similiar. Its just a normal gesture for 'fly up'. It means that the bird (they) should fly up and get glory. You tard. First get a bit information. Also how in the world is communism and nationalsocialism similiar. Do you even have any knowledge about these political Idelogies? The americans and brits etc. also give their salute and rise their hands after it. Does that mean theyre/were now Nationalsocialists? Lol. Wtf?? Also how in the world can you say that whole political Idelogies are related or the same because of a gesture, which dosent even look the same or close to each other by the way. Which they also did once, which we see here. It was a gesture right after the war that they and Germany/GDR will rise from the ashes... ALL OF Germany was in ashes and a complete wasteland.... Also its/it was a common gesture/salute among the Germans... American And soviet military official's and their leaders also did the military salute. Are their countries/ruling Idelogies now communist/capitalist? The Hitler salute comes from the Roman Empire and the american democracy is based on the Roman Empire... Is The usa now Nationalsocialist? This is just retarded... The communism and nationalsocialism had some/one same/related opinion on the economically politics. But thats it. Nothing close in the national politics etc.... Also there are many different forms of communism...

@MarchToFreedom Hate to bust your bubble, but Socialism is all Left Wing. Note the Nazi Party line, "National Socialist Party" they used the term "Socialist" in their party line. All Socialist Leaders (including Stalin) are all "Totalitarians", a One Leader system. Leaders like them (Including Hitler) are all about one thing, complete control, whether you like it or not. The term, "Socialism" isn't the only term used, socialism often mask their true intentions by employing other terminologies. To tell what and who they really are, all you have to do is to look at their "policies" and you can easily spot a "socialist" doing their work. First sign of a socialist is they would preach that only a Government can help solve social problems. The Soviet Union often used this by-line, "We're from the Government and we're here to help you." The other terms used by socialists today to hide their true intentions for society are: Democrats Progressives Nationalists Social Justice Warriors Antifa Comminism They're all exactly the same, even while they deny it, they're don't want their true intentions to be exposed until the Socialists have complete control of everyone. Most often used to control people is they employ the use of police and the military. Socialism is a bad policy, it has failed numerous of times and the current ones in control continues to fail, it's a matter of time before they completely collapse. Just like East Berlin, Soviet Union, the Soviet Blocs, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovak, Angola, Ethiopia, Somalia, Afghanistan, & Laos. Very few countries still employs Socialism, but give it another 20-30 years, eventually, they'll all collapse just the same. The most often excuse to try reviving Socialism or start one is, "Socialism hasn't really been tried. One needs a right Leader and the right system." Every time that happens, that too eventually collapse, in less than 100 years, give or take. Nothing ever sticks. Even old system with similar ideas eventually collapse too, like the Roman Empire. You can keep trying, all it'll do is bring misery and hardship and death. Speaking of deaths, between 1917 to 1985, Socialism has murdered nearly 200 million people. If that doesn't concern you, I'm not sure what will.

Stalin?
@dudedude53329 жыл бұрын
Yea. You mean Stalin. Who different person? They were highly communist. And Stalin was a communist leader and their biggest(Propaganda-)'friend'(soviet union). But why wishing him BACK? He wasnt dead yet and he was still in power... But Its dont think they wanted him as their leader. They wanted a German leader probably... Which Is normal. So no. I dont think they wished Stalin as their leader, otherwise they would have joined the Soviet Union if they wanted Stalin as their leader, lol.... So no, again. However. In the end we can just think what they wanted...

@dudedude53329 жыл бұрын
Nope. It still hasnt ended. Now theres a war of Immigrants and the usa and the EU and left wingers/anti-germans against the Germans...
@Wubulixi9 жыл бұрын
+Dude „The Dude“ Dude The anti-Germans arent left, defacto theyre right-wing anti-German racists. The "Neue Linke" is just bullshit, the good old left of the 50s were nice, in that days even the SPD was far left...
@qh51636 жыл бұрын
No, the war started for east germans in 1990 again. They had peace since 1945. Now germany has many wars in where the Bundeswehrmacht is involved. FuckUSA!
