Great vid. Nottingham wolds is hilly although not as hilly as Leicestershire wolds. As its off the tourist trail no stampede of people. There is a nice summer/dry spell walk from Clifton through Barton where there is a cafe with some llamas [or the other ones] and other animals to Lockington [House is worth a look -open once a year]. Then cross the Soar over at Red Hill to Sawley and a nice track to Shardlow. along the canal/river that uses Long Horse Bridge. Path is good but a bit wet/flooded when heavy rain. At this time of year is worth taking some cutters.

Yeah, the 'High' Leicestershire bit is quite challenging for hills. Pretty though. Thanks for the route tip, I'll have to plot a route over that way soon - been a while since I was last in Clifton, so a good excuse!

At least your planes going into East Midlands airport weren't doing it at 3am, unlike last week when I had the windows open in my flat because it was hot at night and got woken up about every 30 minutes.

I don't know - some nights we get the DHL 3am flights directly overhead...on a warm night they can be mighty loud!
