I do like the 153 especially in that really colourful livery. It’s a nice cute little train. Unique in that it only has a single carriage. I felt sad when I heard that East Midlands trains had got rid of all their class 153’s. The guard seemed a bit grumpy though, he appeared to nudge the passengers and could’ve let those two guys on but oh well.

153 302 never came from northern. 153302 was a Wessex Trains but after the franchise of Wessex Trains ended, not 100% sure but the unit was one of 4 that went into storage at Eastleigh Works before moving over to East Midland Trains several years later.

He could’ve opened the doors for him though even looked behind it him saw him coming and then close the doors. So annoying when that happens. It’s happened to me many times when I’ve gone to catch a bus at the bus station and it’s just pulled out the moment I get there.

Better still Guard keeps train on time for other passengers so they only dissapoint a couple of passengers instead of everyone on and waiting for the train
