I got a Solo Stove Yukon 2.0 last week. Had 2 fires and these types of stoves are amazing! The key to these smokeless fire pits is to use hard wood. I might pick up the East Oak Brasa Mini Tabletop Fire Pit for a little pellet burner.

Very cool, glad you’re enjoying the new pit!🔥

Will this take wood pellets? Also any recommendations on outdoor fire pit chairs? I know Solo stove have some nice accessories like a heat deflector and a pit surround by nothing from east oak.

I’m not sure if wood pellets will work with this pit and we love a good Muskoka Chair around our pit!🔥

I just ordered their table top version. I hope east oak will start making a heat deflector soon for their fire pits.

I agree , a few more options for this pot would be nice. Having said that we use it often at home and I have even taken it camping on several occasions. We love it still! Enjoy your tabletop version and thank you for watching👍

I saw one of your videos while back where did you get your black and red gloves

These are Hestra Lars Falt Guide gloves. I bought mine from the Woodlore website. (Ray Mears)

Have you had the chance to try out the wood pellets?

I haven’t yet but it’s on my list. Thanks for watching👍

Very interesting stove. Been looking at a few similar designs but have not purchased one yet. I will have to give this a closer look. Do you know if they make a "deflection" plate that would sit on top and redirect some of the heat? Thanks for sharing Wade
@Woodswalker19658 ай бұрын
Hey Mark, no deflector plate is available on this one. It is an issue as I pointed out that not much heat gets down low. I will likely DIY one at some point.

Hey Jason, I really enjoy this pit. The only downside is the heat doesn’t spread to your feet as I mentioned in the video. Thanks for watching🙏 Take care buddy!👍

Pretty cool man. I've been seeing these here and there and wondered if they were any good. Thanks for showing the East Oak 21.

Hey man! Good to see ya! These things are great. That one seems real good, like you said: some of the other ones are sort of a ripoff. Either on size for money or completeness. Thanks for sharing

Nice informative video Wade! In the winter we usually fire up a propane heater on the deck, but always long for the burning wood smell. This is the next best thing to a real campfire for sure. Thanks!

Propane is awesome but it’s nice to mess around with a real fire sometimes. Options are always good. Take care👍

Great video Wade. Looks like a pretty cool unit. The metal on metal sound would drive me crazy but it is a nice portal unit. Thanks for sharing. 👍

I've looked at those large Solo stoves for a long time. I've got the small twig stove and really like it. Glad to hear your feed back on their large ones....

Yes I looked at them for a long time as well. I much prefer this one to the Solo Ranger for sure. The Solo did come with a cover I believe but it still wasn’t enough to sway me. Take care bud👍
