This documentary is mainly filmed in Pune district. Now in present time Pune district is not only the most developed and richest district of Maharashtra but whole India. Pune city is now covered 65% land area of Pune District. Junnar, Jamkhed, Jejuri etc all these talukas are now in very better position about Financially...

Thank you so much for posting this. I clicked on it by accident looking for another Feynman film in your uploads, but watched the lot. So refreshing to hear the humility of the doctors who set it up realising that the vast majority of their useful skills are not at a high level. Their empowerment of women, especially of low caste women, is very inspiring. And to achieve it by massive reductions in infant mortality is marvellous. As I watched the film I grew steadily uneasy, thinking, "Does CRHP still exist?" And it does! As a result of your film, I made a donation to their work, and I hope that anybody watching it would consider doing so too. Christopher, it's great that you are posting these docos you produced. I was a student in 81 so much TV was missed in that time. And though BBC (iplayer) does repeat some Horizon episodes there are many that won't resurface on that platform. I wonder what happened to those doctors? Thank you again.

After 43 years, you mean on these days even in Western world digital payment is rare, here in India every one from Five star Hotel to street vendors Indians have Phone Pe, Paytm, at every corner of the Country....Western World still struggling with paper notes and coins..😆😆😆
