East Somerset Railway: Great Western Railway 4110 in Testing

Once again, the team at the East Somerset Railway have taken an engine in Barry scrapyard condition and made it steam once again, and isn't she beautiful! This video shows the third day of testing for Great Western Railway 4110 as the team worth through the list of jobs to prepare the engine for preservation life at the East Somerset Railway for the next three years. I join many by saying well done to the team at the East Somerset Railway for their incredible work! All shots were taken safely around the railway with trained staff. When visiting any steam railway, please don't trespass on the line unless instructed by a trained staff member.

Indeed a splendid effort by the ESR crew; they have certainly mastered their craft at restoring what were for a long time scrap-hulks that seemed un-restorable. After 58 years' slumber, this one is ready to roll again. Regards, Samuel Farris.
