Exercise regularly, that's all you need to be as fit or even fitter than John at 59, theres no magic or super genes involved, just training. And well, I wouldn't call any of them really fit, they are fit strength wise but won't be able to run a 5k or even a mile without collapsing. If you want to live longer and stay healthy you need to do a lot of low heart rate cardio not just lift weights.
