The Wrist Developer was made by David Horne, who is a great manufacturer of serious grip equipment. The WD is primarily used as a tool to train for the bending of iron/metal nails (through the reverse bending technique only), without having to always use nails of various kinds, which can cost a lot of money. It is of course very important to use the right kind of leather wraps on this tool, and to use it properly, with warm up and so on, otherwise you risk injury. David Horne also makes the Vulcan Gripper, which can go beyond the Captains of Crush in terms of adjustable levels.

Seems like a dangerous device tbh.

@@Flornmonk I wouldn’t recommend it if you have wrist ligament injuries. Otherwise it’s safe compared to most armwrestling exercises. I’m using it atm for low setting/high reps while I have a pronator injury.

Wrist Developer made by David Horne, great bit of kit, difficult mastering technique at first but once you do then the gain’s will come, great seeing the elite arm wrestlers trying it, and even better seeing Gary Browne there 😊💪

it's an awkward tool, i could develop one that is better. David Horne sort it out.
@enworb13 күн бұрын
@@Soulvex it’s not designed to be ergonomic. That wouldn’t prepare you to bend bars. It’s not awkward like trying ti deal with an elite armwrestler’s pressures. If you get round to making your own version, let us know.

@@jeffmacarthur9722 if you don’t know its purpose it is. But It’s very useful if you like bending metal bars because practising with metal bars is expensive.

@@enworb Why would you want to bend metal bars? Genuine question... it is a sport or something?
@enworb14 күн бұрын
@ Thanks for your question. I don’t personally bend bars but all aspects of grip strength are a strength sport. I use my WD2 to strengthen and condition my brachioradialis’ and wrist ligaments for armwrestling. I gave one to a chiropractor in Turkey a couple of years ago because he said it would help him recover from a shoulder injury.

@@Faraz_khan0 When someone attacks you in the night, you just show him that metal bender, and how can you bend it in half, and tell your enemy it will be his head if he touches you.
