Thanks for sharing this. We took a ride on this tramway I believe in 1964 when I was six. We didn't buy a cine camera until 1967 and we don't have any photos. Just memories. I remember we took a tram similar to No. 6. Also I wondered why the route took us into a wasteland where nobody lived.

Living nearby in Brighton at that time I remember it well. Moving to Seaton and gaining their own "Right of Way" was the best thing Claude ever did. Sadly he didn't live long enough to see how the hard work of his followers has proved to be such a success. Seaton Council are to be praised for their support. Eastbourne Council LOL , enough said about them. As a young rail modeler in 1962 I came home from the tramway and immediately built a model of the green number 6. I send my best wishes to all the team at Seaton Tramway and I'm watching the Webcams every day. JNS ,Rugby, Warks.

What an amazing collection of footage. Great it has managed to survive.

Fond memories of visted Eastbourne and riding the trams. For😊 instance, I remember my late grandmother getting stuck trying to get out of the lower deck of tram number 7. Happy days😊 Still look forward to riding the trams at Seaton. Whenever I am in the area. Also following you on KZbin .😊

The things I find interesting are :- 4.30 Car 6 had to take trolley off wire' to allow a boat car to enter terminus. 6.05 2 tracks at old terminus (back of depot). 3.43 car 6 no destination boxes.2.55 car 238 running trolley leading followed by a boat. 38.37 Car 02 on track to works,

Such a shame in a way, I loved the trams and Eastbourne wasn`t the same without them.
