Excellent Video! Learned a few things. Hopefully Part 2 has safety systems turned on. DTG have them isolated by default to help new players with no train driving knowledge. A bit of a nuisance for the rest of us but hopefully one day they will give us an option to change the default status.

To be honest I like to set everything up. It’s half the fun
@dislecsyk9916 ай бұрын
@MrJimheeren Safety systems aren't isolated by default in real trains though. Setting up the AWS/TPWS is literally just a case of switching the desk in and cancelling the horn. It's something I find a little bit annoying too, that there's no way to default to them being on.
@MrJimheeren6 ай бұрын
@@dislecsyk991 yeah that would be a good option. It’s especially annoying in some German locos where you have to switch cabs to activate PZB and Sifa
@xxfyrezgamerxx62796 ай бұрын

@Daytona26 ай бұрын
On PC, Ctrl+Enter switches them all on, so it's no biggie - I agree with Dovetail Games policy of making it easier for inexperienced players.
@mavadelo3 ай бұрын
5:23 No, you are not stuck in 1.5 . This is actually one of the things that annoy me in TSW (and before that in TSC), distances are straight line distances and not track distance (at least above a mile this seems to be the case). Normally, especially on UK and most German routes not really a problem as it generally is close to the real distance. But certain mountain routes in Germany and the USA where you "double back" a lot due to S curves, the distance goes down, up, down, up... highly annoying as you never have an idea of how far it actually is.

Train sim world is basically just a big scam now, Dovetail games has just become a big cash grab. Instead of updating their games they just release a whole name game making you spend a bunch more money to get the new game. They also don't listen to their community really anymore, so I've move onto sim rail which is everything we want out of a simulator, They do big updates for free even adding free highly detailed trains. The price of the base game is good, they have dispatching the graphics are better. It's perfect. Train sim world has sadly become a cash grab and poor detail compared to sim rail for the price. Once or if Sim rail releases official third party support Train Sim World sales will most likely go down so you better start listening.
