Well the scriptwriters can't help but ruin things. So many relationships would be SO much better if they'd been left alone. Not everyone jumps from person to person. Shut up, Carol, like you could stay with one man, and anyway, what DOES Ricky do? After all, that ex-wife only plays with him, Natalie's trying to be interesting, and Bianca never really loved him anyway, she just don't like being dumped on, even though she has it coming often enough. You can tell she's David's kid-with a father like him! And how Sam can call Ricky selfish is as convincing as a meat-eater calling out a blood-sports supporter for being cruel. Who dumped who first? Well then.

Pat loved Ricky and janine like her own. Cared for them better than her son David. Yet janine was awful to pat later because pat had an affair with her dad when married to janine's mother. The contrast there with bianca and Tiffany in the house and Ricky thrown out to years later when bianca has their son Liam and Tiffany plans to leave grant and then dies is poignant. Carol looks like she's not sure anymore that Ricky cheated. She feels guilty when bianca throws his clothes out. Bianca should have known that Sam would lie about Ricky to save face

Sam left ricky years ago saying she was bored of him. When it didn't work out for her she wanted him back despite him being with bianca. Served her right. Tiffany was great but annoying here and interfering. Ricky was right that she was jealous of him and bianca's relationship although bianca not accepting her and grant made Tiffany say her relationship with Ricky wasn't perfect either. Ricky was right that at least he loved Bianca and was innocent there
