Felt bad for Robbie, but he survived. Eastenders messed up this opportunity for Robbie's character.

@@chadyepipia8383 Very gradually, in 94, Barry was a bit of a wide boy, had even been in prison and put Cindy in contact with a hitman. In 97, Barry fell for a love scam and lost his father's fortune. In 99, he went on some dates set up by an agency, and he was shown as a clown 99, he marries Natalie; by this point, he's pretty pathetic; she cheats on him with Ricky, and by 2003, he was a total clown. Conned by Janine and killed.

As looking after his early years. Any guesses because I am still confused and just to let you know I got autism.

Wow since you mention lots of details about Barry I just read. But I only want to know when did he exactly had a gradually change from a wide boy to loveable bumbling clown and what year mate. Also was Nigel was the reason why they change Barry's personality. These are my only questions.

When did Barry had a personality transplant into more Comic Loveable bumbling clown of the square what year exactly mate he transition was it in 1997 or 1998 or 1999 and when they made him a major character.

@@hussainmartins5985 Yeah that was in 1997 he changed when he got conned and became a loser and a bit of comic relief. I heard that he was changed to replace Nigel Bates and fill the comedy gap for Nigel and a replacement for him but Nigel didn't leave until april 1998 and I heard they changed him couple of times. Even in 1998 he was a bit of clown and a bit of comedy character and he still had the sleazy by flirting with Mel and Louise Raymond Tiffany's mother and he still had dodgy by conning Robbie out of the video shop manager job and he got Ricky and Teresa to make money by having a mate of his tell them to steal a Christmas tree a dodgy business which Ricky wasn't sure since he knew it was dodgy and Teresa ask him to agree by doing it for Liam's sake before he was born and ricky agreed. But in 1999 when Barry did dating agency and he went out with a few ladies on a date but unsuccessful until he met Natalie. That's when he was showed as more of a clown and became more buffoon. That makes sense about Barry's changes becoming more like Nigel. Did you know that.

Tried it with a drunk phil but in reality sober phil smashes him up hard fast and brutally. Ted was a protective father and a bit of a lump with a belly thats all

why didnt robbie call the cops just before ted broke in because there is a good chance they could have got there before the beating got ad bad as it did where at least robbie wouldnt have been hospitalised

Check out a classic episode of Minder from the late 70s or early 80s ' the actor plays a bouncer who gives a drunk a good hiding before physically ejecting him from the club ' see he 's still got it 17/18 years later.
