Hadn't Ian and David met when they were kids? I thought Pete had only lost touch with the boys when they were 10 or 11. He and Lou fully recognised/remembered Simon when he arrived

Bianca was so amicable back then!!!!! If modern day Bianca behaved like this, I'd be thinking she'd been drugged!!!!!!

I think the writers were still in the process of developing her character. Compare this to the bianca of later episodes where she's really fiery.
