I disagree, I thought the 1990's Derek actor was more suited to the role of Carol's brother than Jamie Foreman. He might not be as vocally intimidating, but he still has a more fitting physical presence and acted more slick. Foreman just seemed like your average gangster, not a Branning brother.

This actor is more believable as Derek Branning than Jamie Foreman ever was. He's more similar in looks to Carol, Max and Jack Branning. Plus, I always thought that Foreman was a bad choice because he acted like he was in a gangster movie. Way too angry and forceful. 90's Derek was more slick and subtle, the best version

Alan was a big guy but he wasn’t a fighter and about that life. A lot of people mistake size with fighting ability although size obviously matters and Alan could’ve handled Derek if he was ready.

@captainhero518. I agree he beat up a few people like tyler,michael,aj and the coach off-screen. A good actor but overrated in fighting he more of a wheeler dealer and a criminal. Just about won masood,got knock down by phil and got beat up by david twice and got hit by joey. He threathen a few people like the baliffs,the man who was playing the music in the van not long after pat died but also a woman bully. A good actor but like phil is old now and gone past his prime
