In his slight defence, wouldn't that have counted more as manslaughter anyway? Unless he deliberately pushed her knowing the knife was there and with the intention that it would go into her? Edit: the initial question was also "did you _kill_ Chantelle(?)", not "murder".

Why was everyone so blinded? Because he had money? Here he threatened to take all his kids meaning Chelseas too just like he did with chantelle. He threatened her so she was scared to leave but she should have told her family or found a way to expose his abuse of her. Chelsea was dumb too to confront him. He could have done away with her too
