Honestly, they bring aboard unexpected young talent to EastEnders, groom their chops and write challenging scenes from within which, these young actors not only deliver the lines as a pro, but just watching for the first time, out of context even, I'm bawling back here for Jay. The breadth of delivery and the impactful, most touching aspects of a person losing a loved one, feeling left alone becomes so evident, via the hard work and developed craft is amazing to witness in one so young. Watching him presently, is what brought me here to view historical and timeline events that brought him forward. Jamie Borthwick, is an amazing actor in this role of Jay Brown/Mitchell, and do feel the same about Harry Reid, who manages to continue to surprise me, as I watch these great compliation videos, with his blow-ups and break-downs, seamless connections in the scenes within which they occur. That said, I do appreciate the current Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden), who has a sense of humour I had not seen prior, the writers had control of story line so not sure, what was lacking. If it's a presence of physical maturity that may have been missing from Harry's Ben, he is actually 4yrs older than than Max, and while the latter's physical appearance may "sell" the current story, there may be something more to the writing staff's reasoning. Time will bear it out. "God Save Ben Mitchell!" "Long Live Ben Mitchell!" Pain in the sides of so many, maybe he'll get a chance to "mellow" this go round?

@@Lava91point0 that'd be harsh but totally in keeping with soaps. Kill off a main character but find the fans so vocal that suddenly that character has a twin that can be inserted in the story to placate and possibly keep those fans from bolting. It's harder these days to convince those in charge that fan satisfaction matters.
