Another person who came back from the Dead was Edmund Grey on All My Children, he walks into the church and his wife Maria passes out. John Callahan who played him also played Eric Stavros on Falcon Crest. Sadly he died in real life.

If you can check out Guiding Light 1983 when Phillip Spaulding finds out that Alan isn't his Real Father and it was done on Michael Jackson's 25th Birthday. They even played "Get On The Floor" from Off The Wall.
